Job Description

Job Summary:

The Supply Management Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the acquisition, onboarding, and retention of drivers to ensure an adequate supply of active drivers on the platform. This role is crucial in balancing the demand for ride-hailing services with a reliable supply of drivers, ensuring seamless operations and service quality.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Driver Acquisition & Onboarding:
• Develop and execute strategies for acquiring new drivers.
• Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, including background checks, vehicle inspections, and training sessions.
• Monitor local driver acquisition trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
2. Driver Retention & Engagement:
• Implement retention programs to reduce driver churn.
• Monitor and address driver concerns regarding pay, incentives, or operational challenges.
• Organise driver feedback sessions and implement improvement measures based on input.
3. Data-Driven Supply Management:
• Track and analyse driver supply and demand data to ensure an optimal balance in various locations.
• Work closely with data teams to generate reports and forecasts for driver supply requirements.
• Adjust driver supply strategies based on real-time data and projections.
4. Incentive & Compensation Management:
• Collaborate with the Operations and Finance teams to design and implement driver incentive programs.
• Ensure that driver payouts and incentives are competitive and timely to maintain driver satisfaction.
5. Compliance & Quality Control:
• Ensure all drivers comply with local regulations, company policies, and quality standards.
• Conduct regular audits of driver documentation, vehicles, and driving performance.
6. Team Leadership:
• Supervise a freelancer team of supply management coordinators responsible for driver interactions and support.
• Provide training and development opportunities for the team.
• Conduct performance reviews and address any gaps in team performance.
7. Collaboration:
• Work with Marketing and Communications teams to promote driver recruitment campaigns.
• Coordinate with Customer Support to address driver-related issues affecting rider experience.
Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
 2+ years of experience in supply chain management, driver operations, or logistics (ride-hailing or transport industry preferred).
 Good leadership and people management skills.
 Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
 Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
 Be able to travel cross cities
 Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
