Job Description
The Claim Manager is working closely with CEO and Dara Insurance Management Team to ensure that Dara Insurance staff are effectively supported by the Claim in order to achieved Company’s objectives and goals of the organization.
RESPONSIBILITIES
– Accountable for the efficient operation of the corporate and commercial claims section for Dara Insurance Plc
– Providing prompt, efficient and effective claims handling service and technical support in accordance with Company’s policies, Ministry of Economy and Finance and IAC guidelines
– Applicable to meet the Company’s objectives and customers’ expectation
– The primary purpose is to investigate, negotiate and settle all assigned claims promptly and equitably within the best provisions of the policy contract and specialised lines of business
– Proactively manage business process to the best outcome for Etiqa and the customers. The work involves collecting and analysing information for each claim for advice to the next level.
– Responsible for keeping claims costs at minimum level but not at the expense of the Insured’s claims.
– To continually enhance and develop work processes with the objective of achieving total quality and excellent corporate and commercial claims handling operations.
– The role holder has a direct supervisory responsibility, and therefore will have some responsibility to develop skill, knowledge and competencies in his staff and to look to develop the best practice.
REQUIREMENT
– Degree In Business/ Insurance related filed/professional insurance qualification ACII/AMII/AAII
– At least 5 years’ experience in claim handling of various classes
– Good Command of spoken and written Khmer and English
– Strong interpersonal skills / ability to communicate effectively
– Professional approach and a team player to achieve Company’s objectives
– Possess good negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills
– IT related skills
– Strong leadership qualities.
